Cardinal George PellI have had a shot at Cardinal George Pell in the past, when he said that 'Jesus said nothing about global warming' and hence dismissed it as immaterial. There are lots of things JC didn't mention, George. Cardinals, for instance.
But today George confirmed my suspicion that he lacks the mental dexterity needed to be a piece of broccoli.
The good Cardinal tells us that praying will cure cancer.
Hey George! If intelligent design was so flash, how come we get cancer in the first place?
On the bright side, I suppose it gives homoeopathy an air of respectability.
And ups the chances of me getting a placebo beatified.
